About Grief…

Three years ago, we lost our mom. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just four weeks earlier. It was fast, it was a shock, it was brutal.
We lost our dad thirteen years earlier, so I thought maybe that experience will help me be prepared, but truth is you can’t never be fully prepared for the loss and the grief, I still miss them so much.

Let’s talk grief…
I have learned a thing or two about it, I’m no expert but I wanted to share it with you.

▪️There’s no right or wrong way to grieve.
▪️We all respond in different ways, I have three sisters, we all mourn differently.
▪️Even if you look ok, it doesn’t mean you are.
▪️It’s ok to express how you feel.
▪️It comes and goes unexpectedly.
▪️There is no timeline for grieving.

If you or a close one have lost someone recently, keep them company, listen, distract them, or just make yourself known.
If you feel you need help it’s ok to ask for it.

May is #mentalhealthawarenessmonth if you are struggling right now please know that you are not alone and ask for help, my DMs are always open.

I hope you have an amazing week!
