For the first time in 156 years, ๐™…๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฉ๐™š๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ has become a federally recognized holiday.

๐™…๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฉ๐™š๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ celebrates the end of slavery in the United States, when on June 19, 1865, federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas and informed slaves of their emancipation.

Thereโ€™s still so much left to do and to learn!
What did you do to celebrate Juneteenth?
